Winter Wonderland (Entry #3)

Have you ever been transported to a winter wonderland? If not, pop one of these little round treats in your mouth and join me!

The wrapper crunches as you open the small treat. It has a small sticky feel to it. The initial bite will create a numbing feeling, quickly followed by a mellowness that leaves you feeling calm and relaxed. The icy, refreshing sensation in your mouth will feel like a crisp winter morning breeze. It's like walking through the trees in the middle of December, the slight sweet evergreen taste feeling like a cozy sweater. It melts on your tongue so effortlessly as you move it back and forth in you mouth. Your breath will smell delicious with a clean feel and the remnants of the cooling effect left behind.

This experience is just a few moments, but it will leave you wanting more. The stress of the day is wiped away for a short time as you're whisked away to a wintery morning in middle of the holiday season.

  1. Winter wonder land is correct! I love how you described walking through the trees in the middle of December. Made me feel peaceful and think of my home up in Pinetop where it's all green and beautiful in the winter.

  3. I love the photo of Elsa, as well as the descriptive part about a winter wonderland. The photo of the snow covered forest adds a lot to your description as well. That last small section was also especially great, and a perfect closure for the entry!
