Self-Care(Entry #10)

I have always been an advocate for self-care and doing what helps you feel the best. I've been on a journey with this for a few years now and it has proven to be really successful for myself. However, one of the most challenging parts is being able to apply the tactics you acquire for self-care while being in a hard time in life. My family and I have hit a rough spot in our lives recently, and through our healing journey I've been the poster child for staying committed to the tactics I've learned over the years. For example, keeping my routines I've created over the last few years and not just laying in bed hoping the negative feelings will magically go away, getting outside with the fresh air and nature, sometimes I journal (I know that sounds super lame, but it works!), I love to read when I feel like there's no other outlet from whatever is happening in my reality at the moment.
