Inside the Minds of Criminals (Entry #2)

      If you're anything like me and have an interest in crime shows, the minds of criminals and why they did they things they did, then you might love the show "Mindhunter" on Netflix! It takes you back to the 70s-80s when psychology research on criminals was a very new concept, and still pretty taboo.   "Mindhunter" focuses on the behavioral profiling of the most notorious criminals, which is what sets it apart from other crime shows. The typical setup for other shows is the chase of the criminal; what the crime was, how it was committed and how the suspect was caught. Joe Penhall, the creator of "Mindhunter," focused on the psyche of the criminals instead; the "why" behind the crime.    Penhall depicted how this area of behavioral science was pioneered, and how it greatly benefits the FBI.       Hiking has been a fan  favorite hobby for generations. Not only is hiking a great way to exercise, it's healing for your mind as well! There's something about being able to unplug, be in nature and not have to worry about the hustle and bustle of life for a period of time. Opposites Attract      It's not news that men and women are marketed to in vastly different ways, especially in the topics of blog entries. In  lieu of the hot topic of the differences between men and women, we will be discussing two of the most popular blogs...The Cosmopolitan and GQ.      The Cosmopolitan has been a respected magazine for a century (seriously, google it). In its later years it has shifted to a more online forum, blogs, and women of all ages have become their target audience. They've maintained a respectful, professional yet personal tone throughout the majority of their articles that has allowed them to really connect with their readers. Women look to The Cosmo for advice, tips and tricks and relatable stories from other women.
